Blasts hit two prominent Sri Lanka churches, two 5 star hotels on Easter Sunday. Cinnamon Grand and Shangrila have been named as the hotels that have been hit.

Colombo National Hospital director has confirmed that more than 20 people have lost their lives and 280 injured in the multiple bomb blasts.
The 2 hotels and one of the churches are situated the heart of Colombo. The second church is in Negombo, which is located north of Colombo.
An official source from within the police bomb squad said that one of the explosions was at St Anthonys Church in Kochcikade, Colombo.
Sources from two leading tourist hotels which have been in Colombo also reported that the explosions took place early Sunday morning, more details are still awaited from them.
Bloomberg has confirmed that the police and emergency vehicles have cordoned off the entrance to the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo, where there appears to be visible damage, including shattered windows, above the hotels main entrance where the coffee shop is located.
St Sebastians church at Katuwapitiya in Negombo has posted photos of devastation inside the church on its Facebook page, showing blood and damage all over the floor, and has reached out for help from the public.
As of now no terror organization has claimed responsibility.
A meagre 6 per cent of mainly Buddhist Sri Lanka are Catholic, but Christianity is seen as a unifying force as it brings together people from both the minority Tamil and majority Sinhalese ethnic groups.
