Congress Upset Over The Ad That Mocked Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.

The video advertisement, which ridiculed Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, was taken down from YouTube after Congress workers objected in Mumbai.

Workers of the Congress party staged a demonstration at the headquarters of Storia Foods in Mumbai on April 27 over the company’s latest social media advertisement that was first shown on Monday. The ad, which parodied Congress heads Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, caused rage and anger among party workers and was later taken down from YouTube after the issue.

In the ad that went viral, “It’s over,” a lady seated at her desk in the office said, as a man (performed by Sanket Bhosale) dressed in white dress and a black waist coat, stepped in. The party office highlighted a emblem that was comparable to that of the Congress. The similarity to Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi was quite blatant.

The actor in the advertisement also says, “Khatam,” instigated by Rahul Gandhi’s speech in 2019 during which he had stated, “Khatam, bye-bye, tata, good-bye, gaya,” while talking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government Make in India programme.

The actor mimicked Rahul Gandhi’s actions and spoke in a tone similar to that of the Congress leader.

The advertisement was targeted to announce their new range of fruit shakes. Watch:

The advertisement went viral. Congress workers created a uproar in front of the office of Storia Foods while also screaming slogans. Police officials tried to monitor the mob as can be seen in a video posted by news agency ANI.
