V-Mall Greenhills Hostage situation Updates – About thirty people are being held hostage in the famous Virra shopping mall in Manila, as per local media reports.

Loud gunshots were heard in the vicinity, Brigadier General Johnson Almazan (Eastern Police District director) told the Manila News Bulletin.
It is believed that at least one person was shot and is currently being treated in hospital.
The mall has been sealed off and all access through the doors blocked.
Authorities can be seen evacuating the building at this stage.
